Michael is running for young people

I am again running the Brighton Half Marathon to raise funds for my son’s college.

Our Place Learning Community (or OPLC) is a unique learning community where young people can learn in a way that better suits their individual interests and needs, as compared to mainstream education.

My son is thriving through being able to choose what he wants to learn and how he wants to learn it.

The money I raise this year will be go towards OPLC’s Access Fund to ensure no family is denied the chance for their young person to benefit from the OPLC experience.

This will be my 7th half marathon and I am aiming for a finish time of 100 minutes – knowing I have beat my fundraising target will definitely spur me on!

Thank you in advance for your support!
